Buko Pandan

Buko Pandan

Here is another Pinoy dessert that is very common in every occasion the Buko-pandan. This is also perfect dessert this summer.

3 cups Kinayod na buko
3 cups green gelatin cooked according to packaging direction (instead of using plain water, boil enough water with 4-5 leaves of pandan), cut into cubes
3 cups tiny sago
1 ½ cup all-purpose cream
1 cup condensed milk

Here’s how to do it:
Just mix all the ingredients and chill before serving.

For added twist, I made this one:

Buko Pandan Jelly
All you have to do is placing a mixture of all ingredients (except the gulaman) in the bottom of a mold. Pour the liquid gulaman mixture. Cool until set. Chill and remove from mold before serving.

  1. Yes, sarap ng buko-pandan! We made it when we went to our outing last week. That buko-pandan jelly is surely a hit sa mga kids and adults too.

  2. Hmm, yummy! Perfect for summer din ito! Never ko pa natry magprepare ng something with gulaman, ayaw kasi ni hubby, hahaha. If only there's another variation of making buko pandan without the jelly, hihi! :-)

    1. Ganun ba? You can replace it with green nata de coco or kaong.

  3. How ang sarap naman.. I hope I can make one too this summer...

  4. Very refreshing for the scorching summery heat! I like it eaten when it's not so frozen so I can taste its every ingredients. Pagfrozen, ung gulaman nasisira ung texture...

  5. Advance happy birthday to you! :)

  6. Looks delish! Hubby just made coffee jelly last night. I'll ask him to do this next. Tnx for the recipe!
