Maja Mais
The first time I did this, it was a bit soggy. The other night, because Mommy is craving for Maja, I tried it again and I got the perfect mixture.

Working in the kitchen is like performing laboratory experiments. My experiment this time is making it creamier by incorporating all-purpose cream.
Maja Mais: The Ingredients
You will need:
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup white sugar
2 cups evaporated milk
1 cup water
2 cups corn kernel
1 cup all-purpose cream
Grated cheese for toppings

Here’s how to do it:
Using food processor or blender, process half of the corn kernels.
In a sauce pan, mix all the ingredients until no more lumps is observed.
Over low to moderate heat, keep on stirring the mixture until thickens and no more taste of raw cornstarch is present.

Before molding

Place in the mold, topped with grated cheese and let it set before serving.
