The part of a chicken I love are the feet. Did you know that this is one of the best sources of collagen? Good for those who are suffering from rheumatism and arthritis.
I made it a bit sweet and spicy. Perfect with steamed rice or as “pulutan”.
You will need:
½ kilo chicken feet, cleaned and toenails removed
1 thumb-sized ginger, minced
1 medium sized onion, minced
1 head garlic, minced
2 laurel leaves
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tbsp paprika powder or siling labuyo
1-2 tbsp brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup vinegar
Here's how to do it:
In a pot, just mix all the ingredient and cook over low to medium heat until the feet is cooked and sauce thickens. Simple, right?
